Amen, I have been to see La Roux live and the team behind her make a real effort. Her gigs have the smoke and colour schemes prevalent in the 80's.

That's a reckless statement. I enjoy listening to 80's popular music, but be careful when you say it shits over other types, making it out to be a far more higher quality and art. The songs of Human League, including this one were perfomed by a touch of a button on a Roland Micro Orchestra, and although a lot of music now is down THE SAME, many are performed with instrumental, artistic creativity. It was some great beats, but I prefer to see originality than artists who follow suit.

It's a trip reading 20-somethings commenting on videos that came out when they were in diapers. I was a teen during that time. Contrary to popular belief, only a few wierdos dressed like this and colored their hair like that. The majority just enjoyed the music. Movies like the Wedding Singer exaggerate the trends.
