Thank you for appreciating Janis. She was the very best vocalist in rock history. She was a woman way, way ahead of her time. She suffered tremendously because of foolish people with closed minds. such a powerfu song. i wish we'd had janis around longer than we did. we lost the best female vocalist of all time when we lost her. and we didn't just lose a singer - without her voice, janis was still an incredible, amazing woman and with her death, we lost a precious woman. in every way, janis was indeed a gem.
