Does she walk?
Does she talk?
Does she come complete?
My only homeroom angel always pulled me from my seat
She was pure like snowflakes, no one could ever stain
The memory of my angel could never cause me pain
Years go by, I'm looking through a girlie magazine
And there's my homeroom angel on the pages in between
(Chorus)
My blood runs cold, my memory has just been sold
My angel is the centerfold
Angel is the centerfold
(2x)
Slipped me notes, under the desk
While I was thinking about her dress
I was shy, I turned away, before she caught my eye
I was shakin' in my shoes whenever she flashed those baby blues
Something had a hold on me when Angel passed close by
Those soft fuzzy sweaters, too magical to touch
To see her in that negligee is really just too much
(Chorus)
Nah nah nah nah nah nah
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah (3x)
Now listen:
It's okay, I understand
This ain't no never-never land
I hope that when this issues gone
I'll see you when your clothes are on
Take your car, yes we will,
We'll take your car and drive it
Take it to a motel room and take 'em off in private
A part of me has just been ripped
The pages from my mind are stripped
Oh no I can't deny it
Oh yeah, I guess I got to buy it
(Chorus)
Nah nah nah nah nah nah
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
Alright!
Alright!
1,2,3,4
Nah nah...

Its agreed, even someone Twenty years from now, i cant see that, In the words of Def Leppord..
"Its better burnt out, then fade away"
Its like the beatles, Elvis, The eagles, ACDC, Def Leppord, Eric clapton, ZZTop, Tons of other classic bands, are like the 20th century of Beethoven, people still listen to that dude, and far on down the line people are going to listen to those people also, I will make DAMN sure that my grand kids do.

i wouldn't say that the music being made today isn't any worse than the music being made in the 70's, 80's, and 90's - the difference between now and then is that the good music is no longer the music being played on the radio.

@OhMyGodProductions0 Wanna know why? B/c there is no more originality..thats why. Being a teenager back when this somg came out..there was nothing better than the music from this era and years prior. Music was about TALENT and EMOTION, Now? Its strictly based on how you look. EVERYTHING sounds the same. I havent heard any unique groups or voices since the '90's. Somewhere, it has all gotten sadly lost and to be honest MTV helped move it away. When ironically, MTV help bring it in. Sad...

"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination...Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And Don't bother concealing your thievery-celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: "It's not where you take things from-it's where you take them to"

IMHO, Every generation has their gems. Even now. I graduated in 1980 and had grown up on 70's rock. I hated disco and when mtv brought pretty boy new wave to the USA and forced it down our throats I hated that too. Thank god for the 90's. However, now that I look back, I can appreciate some of the great songs from every era. Basicly the record companies find a unique group of artists then meld their sounds so they can clone TNG for the easy money. My sermon is finished.
